Dynamic Electronic Decision tree to Manage Sick Children

Dynamic Electronic Decision tree to Manage Sick Children

DYNAMIC project aims improve the quality of care for children (0-14 years) in low resource settings by implementing a novel point of care-electronic clinical algorithm (ePOCT), connected to biosensors and rapid tests that helps guide and train health workers in management of sick children.

ePOCT+ is a technological innovation designed to create lasting, system-wide contributions, including health worker training, reduction of antibiotic prescriptions and the systemization of data collection, management and use. It also revolutionizes the clinical response to environmental changes: using machine-learning to tailor algorithms in real time, improving reactivity to outbreaks and generating reporting that allows health authorities to plan informed and targeted interventions.
